1. Aus ROG RYUO 120 RGB AIO Liquid CPU Cooler

When it came time to upgrade, I wanted something better, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Asus ROG RYUO 120. Id never heard of it before, but Im so glad I did!

Its a 120mm radiator thats packed with RGB LEDs. The way they work is you plug it into your motherboard, and youre given a bunch of presets to choose from. You can use them to customize the colors and patterns of the lights.

Its also got a built-in fan controller, so you can adjust how fast the fans spin. Its not like the Noctua, though this one spins faster than most other liquid coolers, and its also got a lot more airflow.

The RYUO also has Aura Sync support, which means you can connect it to any Aura Sync-compatible motherboard and control its lighting with the same software used to sync all the other RGB-enabled devices in your house.

That makes it easier to set up and use and makes it possible to have a custom color scheme for the entire computer.

Ive been playing around with the Aura Sync software, and its a pretty nice feature. Its very easy to use, and I love how it lets me change the lighting on my PC without messing with the motherboard.

The RYUO 120 is compatible with both AMD and Intel platforms, and it has a pump and tubing designed to keep it quiet. I tested it with an MSI X299 Gaming Plus motherboard, and the pump and tubing are covered in rubber to ensure maximum durability.

It comes with a couple of fans, but you can add more. Two different fan headers let you connect it to two additional fans.

The RYUO 120 is a little pricier than some other liquid coolers, but its worth it for the quality of the materials and the performance. It should keep your system cool and quiet, and it looks great.

Pros

  • Stylish and robust
  • Liquid-cooling technology
  • High-quality fan blades
  • Low noise 120mm fan
  • Offers a variety of colors

Cons

2. AORUS RGB AIO Liquid Cooler

The AORUS RGB AIO is a liquid cooler that can be configured to fit almost any motherboard. It features two 140mm high-speed wind force PWM fans supporting airflow speeds up to 200 CFM.

The AORUS RGB AIO has a maximum power consumption of just 5W, so it won’t require any extra power.

Six different lighting modes can be used to create unique looks. The RGB Fusion 2.0 lighting is similar to Corsair’s own AX1200 RGB but uses less than half the power.

An AIO liquid cooler can cool your processor and memory without overheating. It also means that you don’t have to worry about it being noisy and that the fan noise won’t interfere with your audio or video.

The AORUS RGB AIO is also very durable, and its fans are very high quality. They’re made from high-grade aluminum alloy and have a lifetime warranty.

I found the AORUS RGB AIO to be great value for money, and it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a silent, efficient liquid cooler.

Pros

  • Extremely quiet; virtually silent
  • Flexible mounting options
  • Easy to install and remove
  • Offers up to 50,000 RPM airflow

3.ASUS 90RC0020-M0UAY0 ROG Ryujin 360 All-in-One Liquid CPU Cooler

ASUSs new ROG Ryujin 360 is an interesting all-in-one liquid CPU cooler.

The first thing I noticed when I picked up this cooler was how compact it is and how much smaller than the competition it is. At 4.3†tall, its just half the size of the Noctua NH-U14S.

The ROG Ryujin 360 comes in black but has an option for a white version. The unit’s backside is a little glossy, so the white version feels a little more like a transparent product, and I think its really pretty.

Its not as slim as the NH-U14S, though, and thats probably because its designed to be placed in a tower chassis rather than a water-cooling loop.

On the top of the cooler are two 120mm fans, and on the bottom are two 140mm fans. The fans spin at very low speeds, so they arent noisy at all.

The left side is where the pump cover is located, and the right side is where the LED strip is attached.

The pump cover is made from metal and decorated with a pattern of circles. The rest of the cover is colored black, and its easy to tell where each fan goes and what each fan is responsible for.

To the left of the pump, the cover is the control panel, which features a few different buttons. Theres an LED strip displaying system stats, and the button below can be used to toggle between various modes.

Theres also a power button, a reset button, and a USB port.

A small sticker with the ROG logo is on the front of the unit.

To the right of the pump, cover is the OLED display. The display is 1.77†wide, and its backlit.

The display is a bit small, but its quite useful. I found that it was much easier to see the system stats on display than on a monitor, and I could keep an eye on the temperatures of the various components.

When the system is in OC mode, the system will beep once every minute to let you know how many seconds are left in the current session.

There are three buttons to the right of the display, and they can be used to change the speed of the fans, the fan speed, and the LED colors.

The display is backlit and has a resolution of 16 million colors. The maximum brightness is 350 nits, which is good for an OLED display.

On the underside of the cooler is a vent connecting to the intake fan, and a large opening in the middle connects to the exhaust fan.

The unit is compatible with both Intel CPUs and AMD CPUs. It supports up to 95W and includes a thermal pad and a thermal compound.

The back of the cooler is covered with a metal plate, which has four holes for attaching to a tower or radiator.

The ROG Ryujin 360 is one of the smallest all-in-ones Ive tested, and it fits well into the space its designed for. Its not the most efficient cooler, but it can cool all of your components.

I like the way that the LEDs are integrated into the pump cover, and I like that the display is backlit as well.

The only negative thing I have to say about this cooler is that the pump cover is a little difficult to open.

Pros

  • A great cooler for any system
  • Extremely quiet
  • Very silent
  • Low profile
  • It has a large heatsink
  • It comes with 3 fans
  • Includes a fan controller
  • It has a low profile

Cons

  • Requires an extra power supply
  • It is not compatible with the Intel Z370 chipset
  • It has a large size

4.MSI MPG CoreLiquid K360 AIO CPU Liquid Cooler

If youre looking for a solid, reliable, and versatile CPU cooler, then MSI MPG CoreLiquid K360 is the one for you.

Its a dual-tower liquid cooler, meaning that it consists of two separate parts: a pump block and a radiator. The pump block houses a pump that takes care of the cooling duties, and the radiator holds the heat-dissipating fins and a 360mm radiator that cools your processor.

The pump block itself is compact and features an easy-to-install 2.4-inch LCD. The cover is made from clear plastic, so it doesnt get in the way of the display.

Its a great option if youre looking for a cooler with a large radiator and two fans to help disperse heat, but it doesnt require you to spend a lot of money.

MSI claims that the K360 has an effective cooling capacity of up to 90W and can effectively dissipate heat from the CPU and RAM.

Its compatible with AMD and Intel CPUs, which is great for those who want to try out a dual-core or quad-core processor.

The pump block is quiet and can be mounted onto the motherboard or a compatible stand.

Youll get a lifetime warranty on the radiator and a 2-year warranty on the pump block.

The price is pretty reasonable too, and it comes with a quick installation guide.

Pros

  • Easy to install and configure
  • Flexible water cooling solution
  • Compatible with all the latest CPUs
  • Supports DDR4 Memory
  • Windows 10 operating system
  • Affordable price

Cons

  • Could have a better fan speed control
  • Not very quiet

5.NZXT Kraken Z63 280mm RL-KRZ63-01 AIO RGB CPU Liquid Cooler

Im a big fan of NZXT, and this Kraken Z63 is no exception.

The Kraken Z63 is designed to be a high-performance AIO liquid cooler with all the bells and whistles of a modern CPU cooler.

Theres a built-in pump that pushes water through the radiator, and then the heat is dissipated by two 140mm Aer P fans.

The LED light bar provides useful information, such as your CPU temperature, power consumption, and current fan speed.

The NZXT Kraken Z63 is a beautiful AIO liquid cooler that looks good in any room.

The only thing that I wish it had was a better cable management system.

Its easy to connect, but the cable mess is something that youll have to deal with.

Things to consider before buying Best CPU Cooler With Screen

If you’re planning on building your own PC, then it’s important to have the right tools to do the job. That includes choosing the right CPU cooler and radiator to keep your components cool.

The two most popular choices for CPU coolers are tower coolers and small form factor coolers. They’re the same basic concept, just different sizes.

What’s the difference? Well, for one thing, small form factor coolers are much more compact and easy to fit into tight spaces.

For the most part, however, they don’t offer anything that tower coolers can’t do, and are more suitable for less power-hungry CPUs.

There are other things to consider as well, such as the type of fan you want to use, as well as the noise and vibration level you’re willing to tolerate.

There are many different types of fans you can choose from, including the following:

PWM

Pulse Width Modulation fans use a fixed frequency that spins at a specific RPM. They are commonly seen in CPU coolers and are generally quieter than standard fans.

Standard

This is the most common fan type used in all of the different sizes of PC coolers. It’s a good choice for the majority of people, as it’s usually the quietest and least expensive option.

Active

These are fans that can be controlled by the software that’s installed on your motherboard. This lets you adjust the fan speed based on the temperature of the surrounding air.

It’s a great idea for those who aren’t familiar with the inner workings of their PC, or want to keep a closer eye on their cooling.

Hybrid

A hybrid fan is basically a combination of the two previous fan types. The PWM fans are still there, but they also have a speed limiter to stop them from spinning above a certain RPM.

The result is a quieter and more efficient fan than standard fans, and it will continue to run even if the surrounding air temperature drops too low.

There are many different types of hybrid fans, and each one has its own advantages.

Noise and Vibration

It’s important to note that not all fans are the same. Some are louder and more noticeable than others.

That’s why it’s important to make sure you know what kind of fan you’re looking for before you start shopping.

If you’re using a tower cooler, then you’ll want to look for one with a silent fan, as most tower coolers with fans use standard fans.

However, if you’re using a smaller form factor cooler, you may need to go with a fan that’s louder.

You may want to keep in mind that smaller form factor coolers are typically built with cheaper materials, so they tend to be louder than their larger tower counterparts.

FAQs

Do AIOs cool better?

AIOs, or all-in-ones, are liquid cooling systems that consist of a pump, radiator, tubing, and cooling fans. AIOs are more effective at cooling than air coolers and are often quieter as well.

How long does coolant in an AIO last?

Most AIOs use a glycol-based coolant that will last for several years. You may need to periodically add more coolant to the system, however.

Do you ever need to refill AIO coolers?

No, you should not need to refill your AIO cooler. The coolant in the system should last for several years. You may need to add more coolant to the system if it starts to run low, however.

Conclusion

In conclusion, while you can choose any coolers that you like, the key to the performance is the efficiency of the cooler itself, so you should always look for the best one that you can afford.

If you have to sacrifice something, its better to sacrifice noise than performance, and a good cooler will almost always be quiet, and a bad cooler will usually be loud. However, if you have a budget constraint, then try and get the best possible performance within your budget and see what happens.
